Mary, Queen of Angels Jubilee Pilgrimage

The Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics is one of the designated pilgrimage sites for the 2025 Jubilee Year. Participating in a pilgrimage is one of the many ways to gain a plenary indulgence during the Jubilee.

Schedule:

3:00 PM--Stations of the Cross and Evening Prayer, led by Fr. Landenwitch and Fr. Kohn

4:00 PM--tours of the Shrine and time for personal prayer

5:30 PM--free dinner at the Spiritual Center (next to the Shrine)

While there are no strict attendance limits for the main portion of our pilgrimage, dinner is capped at 200 attendees. Please RSVP using the button at the top of this page by Sunday, August 24. All are welcome to join, and are encouraged to seek the abundant graces offered in this Jubilee year! In order to gain the plenary indulgence, one must also go to confession (within about 20 days before or after the pilgrimage); receive Holy Communion at Mass (ideally the day of the pilgrimage); pray for the intentions of the Holy Father; and be detached from all sin, mortal or venial. If these conditions cannot be met, a partial indulgence can be gained.

The suggested donation for our visit to the shrine is $7 per person. Please bring your donation with you to the shrine that day. The parish is happy to cover the cost of the dinner (about $10 per person). For anyone who would like to donate to that cause, simply do so with your normal offering in the collection--no special designation is necessary.

Children are welcome!

Transportation to the Shrine will generally not be arranged by the parish; however, those seeking to carpool or needing a ride are encouraged to reach out.
